The FNC pneumatic brake is designed for applications where it is necessary to control the unwind tension, such as paper, fabric or cable reels.

The brake is made up of the static air chamber and the friction disc where a chain disc or a pulley is fixed. There is also a version with a friction disc to mount an elastic coupling and thus be able to brake the shaft.

It is a brake that can be used continuously thanks to the fact that the brake disc has a radiator with great heat dissipation capacity.



The FNC pneumatic brake is a brake that can be used continuously. This product is characterized by having the air supply through a static chamber and by having great response sensitivity through the regulation of air pressure.

The FNC pneumatic brake is indicated for tension control applications since the friction material is designed to work in continuous friction with very little wear and without generating vibrations or noise.

The braking torque is proportional to the air pressure, so by properly regulating said pressure, great control is obtained over the torque absorbed by the brake.

They are used in industrial unwinders for paper, plastic, textiles, graphic arts, etc. since its main advantage is that it has a great capacity for heat dissipation and also has a very low weight.

The most common assembly is through a transmission by belts, chains or gears.
