EIDE\u2019s DBQ Centrifugal Brake: A Breakthrough in Safety Technology<\/strong><\/h2>

EIDE is proud to announce that its DBQ unlockable centrifugal brake<\/a> has been shortlisted in the prestigious \u201cContribution to Safe Working at Height\u201d category at the International Awards for Powered Access (IAPA)<\/a> 2020. This recognition highlights the brake’s innovative approach to safety in high-risk environments like construction and building maintenance.<\/p>

Launched in 2019, the DBQ centrifugal brake was designed to meet unique industry demand: the ability to manually disable the brake for testing additional safety mechanisms in the same machinery. This feature is a game-changer for operators, offering greater control and efficiency in testing processes. The brake operates entirely without external power, ensuring reliability and easy operation. It can be quickly switched on or off, enhancing convenience during equipment maintenance and inspections.<\/p>

EIDE, with more than 65 years of experience, is a trusted name in designing and manufacturing industrial brakes for sectors like renewable energy, construction, and beyond. About the IAPA Awards and Summit<\/h2>

IPAF\u2019s members are manufacturers, distributors, rental companies, training centres and users in the field of\u00a0mobile elevating work platforms<\/strong>\u00a0(MEWPs) and\u00a0mast climbing work platforms<\/strong>\u00a0(MCWPs).<\/p>

This year, the\u00a0International Powered Access Federation<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(IPAF) summit will be held in London on April 23th. The International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs)<\/a> and the IPAF Summit conference is a fantastic combined educational and networking event for the access industry.<\/p>

The IPAF Summit & IAPAs 2020 event, scheduled to be held in London, UK, on 23 April 2020, has been postponed and will now be held on 18 March 2021, owing to ongoing concerns and contingency planning in response to the worldwide coronavirus outbreak.<\/p>
