Brakes
EIDE specialises in the design and manufacture of industrial brakes, both pneumatic and electromagnetic.
- Pneumatic brakes use compressed air as the driving medium, which gives them an important advantage: the braking torque is proportional to the pressure applied.
- The FNA pneumatic brake is a positive brake for horizontal shaft work, very reliable and with good heat dissipation, fast response speed and minimum residual torque.
- The FNAM pneumatic brake, a negative brake, provides a safe stop and can brake moving masses or loads.
- The FNH pneumatic brake can be used continuously because the brake disc has a radiator with high heat dissipation capacity.
- The FNC pneumatic brake is designed to work in continuous friction with very little wear and without generating vibrations or noise.
- Electromagnetic brakes, on the other hand, use the force created by an electromagnet to brake an armature disc and, although they do not allow the braking torque to be regulated according to the voltage applied, they have a fixed braking torque.
- The FAE electromagnetic brake consists of the armature with the friction material and the rotor, which in turn is formed by the armature with the spring-membrane.
- The FAE/M electromagnetic brake is a brake that acts when no direct current is applied and is particularly suitable for safety applications.
- One of the advantages of the electromagnetic brake with permanent magnet FIP is that it has no residual torque once it is released.
- The FAET electromagnetic brake consists of the armature with the friction material and the rotor, which in turn consists of the armature, the radiator and the bushing.
At EIDE, we offer a comprehensive range of brakes for various industrial applications, providing a reliable and effective solution to protect workers and machinery.
